Accurate Ak 47 - In the February issue of the newsletter, I mentioned some of the "big debates" going on in the firearms and tactical industry. These discussion topics never fail to provide lively debate with opinions from both sides of the spectrum. Back in February, we discussed the decades-old "9MM vs. 45ACP" debate. This month we're going to tackle another hot topic about the AK-47 and AR-15. Which gun is the best? Are there any real heroes? Again I will discuss the pros and cons of each side and then give my opinion on the matter. So let's start this discussion!

The AK-47 has been around since 1949 and is the official rifle of the Soviet Armed Forces, designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov. This rifle is a long stroke gas piston chambered in 7.62x39mm that has a lot of glory. It is said to be able to work in the toughest conditions. It can be covered with mud, sand, dirt or snow and then lifted and still perform well. The AK-47 is also very easy to operate. They say, "It's easy to take a kid out in the field and operate on him, he can do it," which is kind of true considering that countries at war have AK- 47 have been accepted. Reliability and ease of use. Now let's go down the rabbit hole and talk about the pros and cons of the AK-47 rifle.

Accurate Ak 47

I think the AK-47 is a great rifle. This is a historic platform that any firearms enthusiast should love. It is one of the most durable and powerful guns that can work in the toughest conditions. It can go through thick mud, fall into water, bury itself in sand or dirt, operate in sub-zero temperatures and burn without any problems. The performance of this rifle is night and day compared to the AR-15, but with proper and frequent practice it can be easily adapted to its use. In my opinion, the accuracy of this gun is debatable. A lot of people say that the AK-47 isn't exactly a rifle, but I beg to differ. If you give this rifle to a skilled shooter, they can push this rifle to the limits of accuracy. The same goes for someone who takes the time to practice with an AK-47. Accuracy depends in part on the skill of the person using the firearm. Modern AK-47s can be modified in many ways to give the user an added advantage.

Now let's talk about the AR-15. The AR-15/M16 has been the subject of controversy since its inception. Eugene Stoner designed the AR-15 in the 1950s and it was introduced in 1959. This rifle is gas, straight and chambered in .223 Remington or 5.56. The M16 version of the AR-15 differs only in that it can be switched from semi-automatic to full-automatic fire with the selector switch. The AR-15 can only be fired in semi-automatic mode. His first game was during the Vietnam War. This rifle was pushed to its limits during this brutal and exhausting war. After some time in the field, there were reports that the rifle was prone to jamming due to mud, dirt and other debris that could damage moving parts. This caused a lot of errors, especially "failure to extract" errors. Although this rifle had a rough start to its service, many improvements were made to the AR-15/M16 rifle that made it a very reliable and accurate rifle that is still in service with our nation's military today. Now that you have a brief overview of the AR-15/M16, let's get into the pros and cons.

While the AR-15 started out with significant problems, the modern version has addressed and addressed problems from the rifle's early days. As a result, this rifle is still in service. This rifle is incredibly accurate, and when in the hands of a skilled marksman, can be maximized by accurate shots from its effective range, stopping the threat and pushing it to its limits. Very ergonomic due to the design and minimum recoil. This makes it very easy to control, even when you are shooting quickly. Now that I've talked about the pros and cons of both guns, I'll tell you my thoughts on them and which one I prefer.

Plain and simple, I'm an AR-15 guy. I don't like the AK-47 and I'm not saying I appreciate it all, I just prefer the AR-15 because I trained on that platform and fell in love with it from the start. The accuracy of the AR-15 is amazing and combined with its ergonomics, it feels very natural to handle during various exercises. Also, I firmly believe that the AR-15 is a very reliable rifle. All the ARs I have owned or built have withstood the abuse of training and never let me down. I can hit long range targets with accuracy. If given the opportunity to practice more with a quality AK-47, I feel I can appreciate it as much as I do my AR-15s. But for now, in my opinion, the AR-15 wins the debate. After a few months of working with the PSA AK-47 GF3, it's time to give it a full review for you, the reader.

First I'd like to point out that Brad is the resident AK nerd on the review team at Lynx Defense. If you're looking for an AK-nerd style review, check out his review of the PSA AK Pistol GF3.

One of the appeals (to me) of the PSA AK-47 GF3 is that it is made in the USA. Being an American and brand fanatic, it's always a win for me if I get a product that's made in the USA.

AK-47 releases from the US have been of high quality lately, and after a few hiccups for several US manufacturers, it looks like they are on a solid path to producing quality AKs.

Palmetto State Armory has been expanding its AK collection for several years. First introduced in 2015 with the Gen 1 AK-47, the PSA AK series has come a long way and really stepped up its game in recent years.

Accurate Ak 47

The GF3 is really where PSA made a name for themselves for their AK-47, as they started using hammer-forged parts like the bolt, carrier, and front strap.

With all the historical information out there, it's time to dive into the gun.

The AK-47 GF3 has a number of solid features, and the stock rifle comes in a variety of configurations. PSA is sure to provide the configuration that gets you closer to what you want.

If you want a classic wood body, they've got you covered, and if you're more of a polymer-only shooter, they've got you covered.

Take stock? With the number of stock options, you'd think PSA was on Wall Street. Side folders, sub folders, classic ads, you name it PSA!

As for me, I went with a fake model and I must say that I like it very much.

The thread pitch on the PSA AK-47 GF3 is M14 x 1LH and I lovingly put a Wolverine PBS-1 on my GF3 and love it.

The standard slanted break gives you a classic look, but doesn't have the huge advantage of reducing flare or muzzle lift.

Accurate Ak 47

No, not a Russian spy agency, it's a block show. The front sight unit in GF3 is not connected to the gas unit at all.

Best Ak 47

The FSB is located near the end of the barrel, close to the muzzle, and the gas block is a few inches behind the FSB.

The front sight on the GF3 worked very well, the sights are iron, so don't expect too much from the old iron sights.

I am working on getting a scope and scope for this rifle, but the mount has not arrived yet. I will update you when I receive it.

Warzone] Thoughts On This Mw Ak 47?

If you're new to AK-47s and don't know what a front fork is, you don't know what it takes to put them together, which I never did.

When it comes to AKs, breechblocks are the metal parts to which other parts of the rifle are attached or locked.

On the AK platform, the front strap is a metal block with a barrel that is riveted to the receiver and pressed into it.
